Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. What You'll Be Doing • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty mobile and stationary equipment. • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. • Complete safety inspections and ensure equipment meets operational standards. • Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status with operations teams. • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, and equipment performance.

• What Are We Looking For
• Valid Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyperson certification (or recognized equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment efficiently and safely.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Conditions of Employment
