Under the supervision of the Team Lead Workforce, as a First Aid Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing and evaluating Basic and Intermediate First Aid candidates to Lifesaving Society standards. You will be required to adhere to the Corporate Code of Conduct. Primary duties include: • Demonstrate and instruct candidates to the must see standards set out by The Lifesaving Society for the Basic and Intermediate First Aid certification. • Provide feedback throughout the course and communicate the result of evaluation to candidates at the end of the course. • Complete lesson plans, evaluations and related administrative work. • Create a safe learning environment for participants. • Attend training, meetings, and orientations as required.
Working Conditions: Working at a variety of sport centre locations with increased sounds, interruptions and changing indoor temperatures.
Pre-employment Drug Test: An offer of employment for this position will be conditional on an applicant passing a pre-employment drug test. This test assesses for use of drugs including cannabis. Failure to pass a pre-employment drug test may prevent an applicant from being hired into any safety sensitive position for a period of up to twelve months.
