- The Opportunity
- Position Summary:
- Reporting directly to the Program Director, Pharmacy Services, this support position is responsible for performing routine duties associated with preparing client-specific medications, such as the efficient use of pharmacy equipment and processing orders. This position also supports the administration of pharmacy services, including maintaining inventory
- control and other related duties as required.
- The duties of this position are carried out in an environment focused on customer service.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A Pharmacy Assistant certificate or diploma is preferred.
- Basic Computer skills (MS Office and FileMaker) required.
- Experience in a long term or acute care hospital pharmacy is preferred.
- Experience in a community pharmacy may be considered.
